Am I the only one absolutely gobsmacked with this young lady's visceral performances?? Ever since "Leon", I was certain of what Natalie Portman has came into this world for...In "V for Vendetta" and "Closer"..."The other Boleyn Girl", together with the outstanding Scarlett Johansson, that was it!! I was totally sold.
In "V" it was amazing already, almost painfull, if you can understand my passion. Needless to say, I can't sleep thinking that tomorrow, "Black Swan" starts being shown in Sao Paulo's Theatres, and I will not be able to make it. However, I already bought my ticket for next Wednesday, when I can be gobsmacked in an ambience of silence, (usually), when most movie enthusiasts, are a tiny bit calmer, and not making too many noises, chewing, and whispering...for me Cinema is a show, like Ballet...In respectful silence, preferably, only interrupted by passionate applause.
